The company has launched Realme Pad mini in the Philippines earlier this month. Now a tipster has revealed its India launch. Realme Pad mini is Realme’s second launch in the tablet segment. Last year, Realme launched the Realme Pad. However, there is no indication from the Chinese phone maker of the official launch of the Pad mini in India yet. The tipster has talked about seeing this upcoming tablet on the company’s Indian website.
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore wrote in a Twitter post that Realme Pad mini Soon to be launched in India. However, in the post, the tipster quoted a MySmartPrice report as saying that the device has been spotted on the spare parts page of the company’s Indian website. The listing mentions the launch of both its variants, Wi-Fi only and LTE, in India.
At present, its official launch date and price have not been disclosed by Reality. While the Realme Pad was launched in India for Rs 15,999, the Realme Pad mini can also be launched at an affordable price, it is said.
The Realme Pad mini features an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. The bezels are quite thin on the sides while when holding the tablet in landscape mode, the bezels are thick at the top and bottom, so that the tab can be handled easily. Realme Pad mini is powered by Unisoc T616 processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The processor is paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. For storage, it comes with 32GB and 64GB options.
Talking about optics, the device has an 8MP f/2.0 aperture camera. On the front, it comes with a 5 megapixel camera. LED flash is not provided with the camera. Its battery capacity is 6,400 mAh and it supports 18W fast charging. It also has a reverse charging feature. Charging takes place through the USB Type C port. The company also provides an 18W charger with the retail box. In connectivity options, this device supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
