Technology company Xiaomi launched Mi Pad 5 in many markets last year, which is also known as Xiaomi Pad 5 in many markets. However, this tablet has different pricing and mid-range features like 120Hz display with specifications. Now it is being told that the company is working on Xiaomi Paid 6 series. The EEC listing makes it clear that the company is working on a new tablet belonging to the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. Let us know about the expected features and specifications of these tablets.
A recent report by 91mobiles has revealed that 4 tablets will be introduced for the next generation. According to the report, these tablets will have 4 model numbers L81, L81A, L82, and L83 which will be corresponding to the Xiaomi Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro, Pad 6 Pro 5G and a Redmi tablet. While the Pad 6 series will focus on the mid-range to flagship segment, the company will bring in an affordable Redmi tablet.
The report states that these tablets will be available in two processor variants belonging to both MediaTek and Qualcomm. But at present it is not clear in which region it will be available, if both the SoC variants are not there. The top-end model Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro 5G is likely to come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000 SoC.
Furthermore, the report makes it clear that the fast charging capacity of the upcoming tablet will increase from the current-gen 67W to 120W over a wired connection. The Pad 6 series is also expected to come with a 144Hz LTPO display, powerful speakers and a new version of MIUI for the tablet. If the rumors are true then the upcoming tablet could prove to be the best for money proposition in the mid-range and flagship tier. A recent report suggested that the next generation of the Xiaomi tablet is expected to arrive in August 2022.
