Asus Zenfone 9 will be the company’s next compact flagship smartphone in India. This device is going to be the successor of Asus 8z, which was launched in India in March 2022. The Zenfone 9 is said to sport a compact 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Talking about the camera, the smartphone will get a dual camera setup on the back side with 50MP Sony IMX766 primary lens and 12MP ultra-wide lens. This phone will come with IMX766 sensor upgrade and a 12MP camera will be available on the front for selfies and video calls.
Talking about the battery, it will come with a 4300mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. This Asus phone will run on Android 12 OS.
As for the price, the Asus Zenfone 9 can cost EUR 799 (approximately Rs 65000) for the 16GB + 256GB model. However, it is expected that it will be offered in India at a lower price. Although there is no such information officially. This phone will come in Moonlight White, Midnight Black, Starry Blue and Sunset Red color options.
