Apple has started production of iPhone 13 in India. This is a big step towards making India a manufacturing hub. The company iPhone 13 is manufactured at the contract manufacturer Foxconn’s plant of APPLE near Chennai. APPLE started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017 with the iPhone SE. The company currently makes some of its most successful iPhones in India, including the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 comes with the latest 5G, A15 Bionic chip, longer battery life and a sleek design.
At present, no Pro version of any iPhone model is being made in India. The iPhone 13 made in India will be shipped to India as well as nearby markets. The iPhone 13 was launched in India in September 2021. Manufacturing started in India about eight months after the launch of the iPhone 12.
Company’s focus on reducing imports
Apple is working towards strengthening its manufacturing unit in India. He wants to import as little as possible because it is highly taxed. Apple plans to increase the availability of the iPhone in India. Local manufacturing will increase the company’s profits, as it will not distribute it cheaply at any cost.

India is a huge market for the iPhone and it is booming. The demand for this specialty has increased significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals.
