New Delhi: The ROG Phone 7 series will be unveiled by ASUS on April 13. ROG Phone 7 and 7 Pro models have been rendered by tipster Evan Blass ahead of launch.
In comparison to its predecessors, the handset features a slightly revised rear panel. Given that the 7 Pro will have an additional display on the back, the phone 7 and 7 Pro will look similar.
The ROG Phone 7 series will not be officially available for sale for a few more days. However, details of the lineup including images have already been posted online.
The upcoming gaming smartphones from ASUS will feature displays with industry-leading high refresh rates, impressive UI features, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip, large batteries, and a host of other cutting-edge features. These will be made public for international markets including India.
A selfie camera on the top bezel, a fingerprint reader hidden under the display, and a futuristic design will all be features of the ROG Phone 7 and 7 Pro. The RGB Vision secondary screen will be located on the back of the Pro model.
As per rumours, the smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
ROG Phone 7 series can include 50MP primary camera, 13MP ultra wide camera and 5MP macro lens. Both the models are expected to come with a 12MP front-facing selfie camera. They should be capable of recording 24 fps 8K video.
The ROG Phone 7 lineup will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. We anticipate at least 512GB of onboard storage and up to 18GB of RAM.
The devices will boot ROG UI with Android 13 OS. A 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support will be the power source.
The ROG Phone 7 series is expected to cost $580 or more (roughly Rs. 47,500). The exact cost will be made public, however, at the time of launch, which is slated for April 13 for international markets.
