New Delhi: The curtain has been lifted from the company’s latest flagship phone Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The device has up to four 50MP cameras, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 1TB of storage, and 90W wired fast-charging, along with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, among other highlights.
The phone made its debut in China with the base 12GB/256GB configuration starting at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 71,600).
The newest rival in the flagship smartphone market is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
It can compete with devices like Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro Max, HONOR Magic5 Pro, Huawei P60 Pro and OPPO Find X6 Pro.
The device looks promising and could be one of the best smartphones of 2023 based on the specifications.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra sports a metal frame, curved edges, a punch-hole cut-out in the middle, an under-display fingerprint reader, and an IP68 rating. At the back, it flaunts a circular camera setup.
The gadget flaunts a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440×3200 pixels) C7 LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and 2,600 nits of peak brightness.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra has 50.3 MP (f/4.0, OIS) 1.0-inch main camera, 50MP (f/2.2), 50MP (f/3.0, OIS), 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) telephoto lens, and on the back A ToF 3D sensor. It has a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera at the front.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.
It is available in configurations of 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. The device starts with MIUI 14 and Android 13 on the bottom.
It houses a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged with 90W wirelessly, 50W wirelessly, and 10W reverse wirelessly. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 (LE) are both supported by the 5G phone.
The 12GB/256GB model of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is available for pre-order for CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 71,600). The 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB models are priced at CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 77,550) and CNY 7,299 (roughly Rs. 87,100), respectively. Its sale will start in China from 21 April.
