Yes, Nitesh Chopra was shocked when he found that he had 99.9 percent blockage in his arteries. He then detected irregularities in the ECG measured through the Apple Watch Series 6 and then went to the hospital.
Apple Watch saved Haryana dentist’s life
It may be noted that the Apple Watch gifted by Nitesh Chopra to his wife was diagnosed with heart condition after she complained of chest pain.
Let us tell you that his wife Neha Chopra had asked him to take an ECG on Apple Watch Series 6 and due to irregularities in the ECG, he had to visit the hospital and get an angiography which showed that his arteries were 99.9 percent blocked.
According to reports, Nitesh Chopra later underwent surgery and was discharged after being hospitalized for a few days.
The dentist’s wife has written a thanks note to Apple CEO Tim Cook for this special technology that saved her husband’s life. In his email, he mentioned that he went to the hospital because of the technology provided by Apple. She wished Cook lots of love and happiness and thanked her husband for giving life.
Responding to her email, the Apple CEO wrote: “I’m so glad you sought medical attention and got the treatment you needed. Thanks for sharing your story with us.” Responded in email.
