A Bloomberg report is claiming that the Indian government is preparing to ban Chinese smartphones priced up to Rs 12,000. India is the second largest market in the world in terms of mobile market. This will be the government’s second digital strike against Chinese companies after the ban on Chinese apps in 2020. It is being said that the Indian government may ban Chinese mobile companies to promote domestic companies like Lava and Micromax.
Xiaomi
Xiaomi has the largest share in the Indian market. Simply put, Xiaomi is the number 1 mobile brand in India in the Rs 20,000 range. Xiaomi phones are sold in India under the branding of Mi, Redmi and Poco. There are many good smartphones of Redmi and Poco in the range of Rs 12,000 and the sales of these phones are also very high. This decision of the government will hurt Xiaomi the most.

Realme smartphones coming in the range of up to Rs 12,000 are no less than Redmi. There are about 5-7 smartphones of Reality in this range which are quite popular. After Xiaomi at number two, Reality will suffer the most.
The number of Vivo phones up to Rs 12,000 is less, there are only 2-4 phones of Vivo in this range which can be vulnerable to the decision of the government.
Oppo phone’s name is at number four. Oppo phones are very few in the Rs 12,000 range but 2-4 phones can be a hit.
Infinix phones are sold in India under Transsion Holdings. Infinix phones are manufactured from India to France. Infinix has many phones in the range of Rs 12,000.

Although you also know that even though these mobile companies are Chinese, but phones up to Vivo, Tecno, Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo and Infinix are being prepared in India.
