Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Monday launched DigiYatra app based on beta version. This app has been launched for the convenience of Android users and passengers traveling by plane. According to DIAL, after the start of the service of this app, passengers will not need to carry their identity card and boarding pass. With the help of the app, passengers will be able to take entry at the airport in a paperless and smooth manner.

Our aim is to make the entry of passengers at the airport paperless and seamless, thereby saving time. Meaning now with the help of the app, passengers will be given entry into the airport through facial recognition technology. The app identifies passengers through facial recognition technology, which is linked to their boarding pass. At present, this facility has been started as a trial at Terminal No. 3 of Delhi Airport. According to DIAL, so far about 20 thousand passengers have made paperless and seamless entry through this app during the trial.

With the help of this app, passengers will have to submit biometric and other details only once. Then with the help of this detail, he can do his upcoming trips. This means that passengers will not have to submit biometric details every time. According to DIAL, the beta version of DigiYatra app has become available for download on Google Play Store. The iOS version of the app will also be made available within a week.
On DigiYatra app, you have to register with the help of phone number and Aadhaar details. After this, take a selfie with the front camera of the phone and submit it. Finally, the vaccination details and boarding pass have to be scanned and added to the app. After this you will be able to enter with the help of the app.
