List of cities that will get Airtel 5G network first, Airtel has said to roll out 5G in only 13 cities earlier. These will reportedly be Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.
Airtel 5G prices are expected to be similar to 4G prepaid plans. The company’s CTO Randeep Sekhon has said, ‘If you look at the global level, there is no big difference between 5G and 4G tariffs. We expect 5G plans in India to be similar to 4G tariffs. At the same time, Vodafone Idea believes that the price should be higher than 4G because people will get the fastest 5G network in the country. It has to be seen how expensive 5G will be in India.
