Instagram has faced more criticism lately due to its increased focus on video-based posts, but that hasn’t stopped the company from rolling out the new features. Let us tell you that recently Meta’s photo and video-sharing platform introduced a major update to Instagram Reels, which includes features like reel video merge, reel templates and remix improvements on the platform. Huh. Apart from these features, Instagram has also introduced a feature called ‘Dual Camera’ on its platform.
Instagram boss Adam Mosseri tweeted
Instagram recently introduced the dual camera feature that makes it easy to collab and share with the reel. With this new feature, you can use both front and back cameras simultaneously. Information related to the feature was shared by Instagram boss Adam Mosseri in a post on Twitter. We are announcing new features that will merge reels to make it even more fun, he added. He said that now Instagram’s Dual Record feature allows users to record content and reactions at the same time. Instagram uses the phone’s front and rear cameras with dual features in the camera.
First of all open Instagram app on Android smartphone or iPhone. Then tap on the + plus icon at the bottom of the screen. Then tap on Reels option to create reels. Note that you can also swipe right to open the reels directly.
If you’re using an Android smartphone, tap on the new dual icon that appears at the bottom right of the quick access menu bar. If you’re using an iPhone, look to the left.
Tap the camera button to start recording the reel and tap it again when you’re done recording it. Now to review the reels, tap on the preview button at the bottom and add elements like Music, Stickers, Text and Effects to it.
Once you are done editing the reels, tap the Next button in the lower right corner of the App. Then in the screen, add a caption, location, and tag people. After all the process is done, tap on the share button to share the reels on Instagram. In these easy ways you can make your own video.
