Reliance Jio has made preparations to start 5G services in about 1,000 cities. Along with this, the company has also tested its indigenously developed 5G telecom equipment. Reliance Industries has said in the annual report, ‘We telecom unit Jio has taken several steps towards preparing itself for 5G services with 100% technology in the country in the financial year 2021-22.
5G services may start on this day!
Reliance Jio has been at the forefront of the 5G spectrum auction. Out of 1.50 lakh crores, Jio alone has made a bid of 88,078 crores. According to the report, the plan to launch 5G services is based on targeted consumer consumption and revenue potential using heat maps, 3D maps and ray-tracing technology.
Where till now 5G services were being started on 15th August, now news is coming that 5G services can be released on 29th September. Actually, India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 is being inaugurated on 29 September. According to the news, 5G services will also be released in India on this occasion.

Jio has claimed that 5G service will be provided from its side in the country at the most economical rate. However, no disclosure has been made about how much the price will be. Jio will offer 5G service on a large scale in the country. Whereas Airtel will initially provide its service in select cities only. There is a possibility that 5G service can be started in the country by October.
