Whereas only 1.7 percent cases of cyber crime were seen in Delhi.

At the same time, sexual abuse has been seen in 8.6 percent of the cases and extortion in 5.4 percent of the cases. Along with this, 15 cases of cyber terrorism have also been registered according to NCRB.

Talking about the statistics of cybercrime happening in the states, Telangana has the highest (10,303) cases. At the same time, 8,829 cases of cyber crime have been seen in Uttar Pradesh, 8,136 in Karnataka, 5,562 in Maharashtra and 4,846 in Assam.
