Motorola has launched its new tab Moto Tab G62 in India at an initial price of Rs 15,999. Moto Tab G62 has been launched in India with Snapdragon 680 processor, 4 GB LPDDR 4X RAM. The Moto Tab G62 is going to compete with the Oppo Pad Air in the Indian market, which was launched a few days ago at a price of Rs 16,999. Both the Oppo Pad Air and Moto Tab G62 tablets have displays larger than 10 inches.

The Wi-Fi variant of Moto Tab G62 is priced at Rs 15,999. At the same time, the price of LTE variant has been kept at Rs 17,999. The price of 64 GB storage variant with 4 GB RAM of Oppo Pad Air has been kept at Rs 16,999 and the price of 128 GB storage variant with 4 GB RAM has been kept at Rs 19,999.
The Oppo Pad Air features a 10.36-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2,000×1,200 pixels. Oppo Pad Air tablet comes with Android 12 based ColorOS 12. Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm processor has been given in Oppo Pad Air. Oppo Pad Air comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, which is expandable up to 7GB (4GB physical RAM + 3GB virtual RAM). The storage of this tablet can be expanded up to 512 GB with the help of micro SD card. The tablet has quad speakers, which support Dolby Atmos.
Android 12 has been given in Moto Tab G62. It also has support for 4G network. In this tab of Motorola, a separate slot has been given for the memory card. The Moto Tab G62 sports a 10.61-inch IPS LCD display with 2K+ (2,000×1,200 pixels) resolution. The aspect ratio of the display is 16:10. The Moto Tab G62 LTE is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB with the help of a memory card. It has got IP52 rating for water resistant.
The Oppo Pad Air tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera can record 4K video at 30FPS. A 5-megapixel sensor has been given in Oppo Pad Air for selfie and video calls. The Moto Tab G62 packs an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera setup that can record videos at 1080p. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Features like Dual Capture, Spot Color, Time Lapse, Face Beauty, Video Snapshot and Efficient Video will be available with the camera.
The Moto Tab G62 has quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The Moto Tab G62 comes with Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also face unlock with the tab. The Moto Tab G62 packs a 7700mAh battery that supports 20W charging. The Oppo Pad Air packs a 7,100mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity in Oppo Pad Air, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and USB Type-C port have been provided. The tablet has also got IP52 rating for water resistant.

Talking about the display, Oppo’s Tab has a 10.36-inch display, while Motorola’s Tab has a 10.61-inch display. Both the tabs have a 2K display. Snapdragon 680 processor is available in both the tabs and both the tabs come with 4 GB RAM. Motorola’s Tab leads the way in terms of cameras, as both its front and rear cameras are 8 megapixels, while Oppo’s Tab has a 5 megapixel front camera. The Moto Tab G62 gets a bigger battery than the Oppo Pad Air. So overall there will be a change in both the tabs regarding battery and camera. There is also a slight difference in the price.
