It has been just a few months since Vivo launched the X Fold in China. The company is now working on the successor model of the X Fold. A Weibo user claims that Vivo X Fold S is in the works. Vivo’s upcoming foldable smartphone will be an interactive upgrade and offer slightly better specs over the X Fold. The X Fold S is said to get a new processor and faster charging speed.

Vivo X Fold S will be the company’s second foldable smartphone. It is expected that this device will be launched in China soon with upgraded specs. According to a new leak (via), the Vivo X Fold S will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In comparison, the original X Fold S houses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Apart from this, leaked details suggest that the Vivo X Fold S will also have 80W fast charging support along with 50W wireless charging. The Vivo X out of the Fold S came with 66W fast charging. The tipster also claims that Vivo will launch the X Fold S with a dual ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Other specifications of the phone are likely to remain the same as the X Fold. In that case, the X Fold S could feature an 8.03-inch foldable AMOLED display. The LTPO display will offer 1916 x 2160-pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. On the outside, there will be a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support.

The Vivo X Fold S phone could sport a quad-camera setup at the back. It is likely to have a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope camera. The device will also have a 16MP front camera. Under the hood, there will be a 4,600mAh battery.
