New Delhi. You are likely to get 5G mobile service soon. The government has issued spectrum allotment letters to Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone, which won spectrum in the auction. Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information on the social media app Koo. Vaishnav has said that after the spectrum allotment letter is issued to the companies, now they should prepare to provide 5G mobile service to the people soon. Let us tell you that the government had auctioned last month for 5G mobile service. Due to which the government got revenue of about 1.50 lakh crores.
Reliance Jio has bought spectrum for every circle in the country. At the same time, Airtel has also taken spectrum in the same way. Whereas, Vodafone has taken spectrum to provide 5G service in some parts of the country. The special thing is also that Reliance Jio is the only company out of these three, which has taken spectrum of 700 MHz. Very good and fast service can be given through this spectrum. For this, however, more towers have to be installed. Reliance will not have a problem with this, as it has dozens of towers in every city.
Talking about Airtel and Vodafone, both these companies have taken spectrum mostly in the bandwidth of 3000 and 1800 MHz. Both the companies say that through this they will give world class service to their customers. Reliance Jio had earlier announced that it will start 5G service in August itself. At the same time, Airtel has said that it will start the service across the country by December next year. Overall, by next year, customers from Jio, Airtel and Vodafone are likely to get 5G service completely.
