New Delhi. Apple’s annual education offer in a time of hybrid learning has gone live on its India store online, where those who buy a Mac or iPad eligible for college or university will get free AirPods with Apple Music for six months. The company announced that the ‘Back to School’ offer is available to current and newly accepted college/university students, parents shopping for them and teachers and employees at all levels and on the special education section of the Apple Store Online.
Eligible customers can also protect their purchases with a 20 percent discount on Apple Care Plus, the company said in a statement. This offer is available from June 24 to September 22 and eligible are iPad Air fifth generation, iPad Pro 11-inch third generation and 12.9-inch fifth generation. Other Apple devices include MacBook Air M1, MacBook Air M2 (available next month), MacBook Pro and iMac 24-inch.
Customers can upgrade to AirPods Pro third generation for Rs 6,400 and AirPods Pro for Rs 12,200. The MacBook Air (M1) with Education Discount starts at Rs.89,900, while the MacBook Air (M2) starts at Rs.109,900. The MacBook Pro 13-inch is priced at Rs 119,900 and the MacBook Pro 14-inch is priced at Rs 175,410. While iPad Air starts at Rs 50,780, iPad Pro starts at Rs 68,300 with education discount.
