In view of this, now Vodafone-Idea (Vi), the country’s third largest telecom company, has started free gaming service for its users. The company has tied up with Nazara Technologies for this. Under Vi Games, Vodafone Idea users will get a chance to play 1200+ Android and HTML 5 based mobile games. Vi has divided mobile games into about 10 categories such as Action, Adventure, Education, Fun, Puzzle, Racing and Sports.
The company has divided Vi Games into three categories Platinum Games, Gold Games and Free Games. Users will not have to pay money to play games in the Free Games category. However, users will get to see advertisements in this. In this, users will be able to enjoy 250+ free games. Platinum Games will be available on a download basis. For this, postpet users of Vi will have to take a platinum pass of Rs 25 and pre-paid users of Rs 26. At the Golden Games, Wi users will get access to a slew of games through the Gold Pass. In which 30 games will be offered with just Rs 50 postpaid and Rs 56 prepaid recharge. In this recharge, users will get a validity of 30 days. At the same time, post-paid users of Vi will be provided 5 free gold games every month on recharge of Rs 499 and above.

The number of gamers in India is increasing rapidly and by the end of 2022, the total number of gamers in the country will cross 500 million. Avnish Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer, Vodafone Idea, says that this agreement can prove to be very beneficial in the gaming industry.
